There are a lot of tutorials to get through early in *Dying Light: The Beast*. Many of them are helpful as you learn the ins and outs of the mechanics, but after a few hours, they can become an aggravation. Thankfully, it’s an easy matter to turn off the hint tutorial pop-ups so you’re not being bombarded with information you already have.
## How to Turn Off Hints and Hint Pop-Ups in Dying Light: The Beast
The ability to turn off hints—such as the annoying “You have Skill Points to spend!” and other reminders—is the second option down in the **Game** screen of the **Settings** menu. Simply toggle the switch to **Off**, and the game will stop bothering you with prompts for simple tasks.
You’ll want to save Beast Points early on, as you don’t start getting them in larger quantities until several hours into the game. The orange icon represents **Beast Points**, while the white rising arrows indicate **Skill Points**.
As for healing items, you should always have at least a few bandages on hand. There’s no penalty for crafting them mid-combat, so feel free to create more as needed.
In a best-case scenario, turning off **Hints** is the only setting you’ll need to adjust. However, you might also want to fine-tune graphics settings and visuals like Field of View (FOV) to dial in the experience to your preference.
