Raghav Juyal, currently celebrating the success of his recent release *The Ba***ds of Bollywood*, recently shared his thoughts on working with debutant director Aryan Khan. In an exclusive interview with Mid-Day, Juyal praised Khan’s respectful attitude towards fellow artists, comparing it to the demeanor of his father, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
**A Respectful and Collaborative Filmmaker**
Juyal emphasized Aryan Khan’s collaborative approach to filmmaking, highlighting his habit of seeking others’ perspectives during the creative process. “He has a habit of asking questions. He would ask our point of view. In my opinion, that’s the best way of working because filmmaking is a collaborative process,” said Juyal.
He further added, “Aryan has the same etiquette of respecting other artists that Shah Rukh sir displays. He knows that everyone comes with their struggles and experiences. He is the son of the biggest outsider in the industry. He doesn’t have the vibe of a nepo kid.”
**Understanding the Indian Audience**
Beyond his respectful nature, Juyal lauded Khan’s deep understanding of the Indian audience, especially those beyond metropolitan cities. “Having an extended family outside of Bollywood, Aryan understood the Indian audience, which exists beyond metropolitan cities. There’s a very homely environment within his family.”
Juyal also noted Khan’s command over language, saying, “His diction of Hindi and Urdu is clear. He speaks in English only when needed. That’s why he was able to make a very rooted show with a self-critical lens.”

With over a decade in the film industry, Raghav Juyal has recently risen to prominence with notable projects such as *Kill* (2023), *Gyaarah Gyaarah* (2024), and *Yudhra* (2024). In the latest Netflix series *The Ba***ds of Bollywood*, he portrays Parvaiz, a character who forms a close bond with Aasmaan Singh, played by Lakshya.
