**Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Upcoming IPS Officer Transfers Likely After Eid**
Another transfer list of IPS officers is expected to be released after Eid, following the recent reshuffle. This new list is anticipated to include officers known for their integrity and result-oriented approach.
Reports suggest that upright officers have been assigned important roles as part of this exercise. These transfers mark the first major field postings since Kailash Makwana assumed the position of Director General of Police (DGP). With Chief Minister Mohan Yadav giving a free hand to Makwana, it is expected that the DGP may initiate further changes independently.
Among those likely to be transferred are key field officers such as Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra and IG of Jabalpur Anil Singh Kushwaha. Additionally, following the appointment of Rakesh Gupta as Director of Sports in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, a vacancy may open up for another officer posting there. Notably, retired IPS officer Rajesh Hingankar has been appointed as OSD in the CM’s Secretariat.
Superintendents of Police (SPs) in more than half a dozen districts are also expected to be changed. These districts reportedly face challenges in maintaining law and order, and some have been linked to corruption issues. Sources reveal that the Chief Minister has given the green signal to the DGP to prepare proposals for transferring such field officers.
The upcoming transfer list is likely to include the names of SPs from districts where corruption reports have surfaced, reflecting a move to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve governance in troubled areas.
