In response to the widespread attention, The Pokémon Company has released an official statement clarifying that they were not involved in the creation of the video. Furthermore, they emphasized that they did not grant permission for their intellectual property to be used in this manner.
The Pokémon Company shared this statement with several outlets, including Kotaku, to address the use of their IP in what they described as an ICE propaganda video.
