Lexus has unveiled the 2026 LS500 Heritage Edition, a special, limited-run model that marks the end of an era for its flagship sedan. This exclusive release comes after the discontinuation of the hybrid LS500h following the 2025 model year.
### Limited Production and Pricing
Only 250 units of the twin-turbo V6-powered LS500 Heritage Edition will be produced, each priced at $100,730. This makes the Heritage Edition a rare collector’s item for enthusiasts and loyal Lexus fans.
### Performance and Features
The 2026 LS500 Heritage Edition is powered by a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 engine, delivering an impressive 416 horsepower and 599 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 97 km/h in just 5.0 seconds, ensuring a dynamic driving experience.
On the outside, the vehicle boasts unique 20-inch wheels paired with a striking new Ninety Noir paint option. Inside, the cabin introduces Roja Red upholstery—a first for any LS model—offering a bold and luxurious aesthetic. Additional touches include an etched emblem on the center console and an embroidered silhouette of the LS on the headrests, underscoring the exclusivity of this edition.
### A Legacy Comes to a Close
Lexus began its journey as Toyota’s luxury division in 1989, launching the original LS sedan as its flagship model. After 36 years of continuous evolution, the LS sedan is set to conclude its chapter with the 2026 LS500 Heritage Edition.
For 2026, this Heritage Edition will be the only LS model available for purchase, and it comes fully loaded with premium features and specifications, serving as a fitting tribute to the venerable sedan’s legacy.
