Where to Find Lumble
Lumble is a bug located in the Blasted Steps, a windy area northwest of Shellwood. You can find him to the left of the quick travel point, down at the bottom of a vertical shaft. Make sure to visit Lumble with a pocket full of rosaries, as he will invite you to play a dice game.
How to Unlock the Magnetic Dice
To unlock the Magnetic Dice, you need to beat Lumble at dice until he runs out of rosaries. Based on estimates, this means you will need to win approximately 28 rosaries from him, which roughly equates to winning seven times in a row or maintaining a slight edge over him in the game.
Once Lumble runs out of rosaries, he will admit defeat and offer you his dice as payment—the coveted Magnetic Dice.
Magnetic Dice Effect
The Magnetic Dice is a tool that you can equip in a yellow slot in your Crest. The in-game description reads:
“Playthings carved from magnetic material. Used in simple games and believed to bring luck to the bearer.”
In practical terms, the Magnetic Dice gives you a chance to take zero damage when hit by an attack. This effect is completely random and cannot be relied upon consistently. You will know it has activated because Hornet will glow a vibrant blue.
