**If Pakistan Wants a Place in Geography: Army Chief’s Stern Warning**

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has issued a strong warning to Pakistan, declaring that India will no longer hold back in responding to state-sponsored terrorism.
“This time we will not maintain the restraint that we had in Operation Sindoor 1.0,” he stated. “This time we will do something that will make Pakistan think whether it wants to retain its place in Geography or not. If Pakistan wants to retain its place in Geography, then it must stop state-sponsored terrorism.”
Addressing soldiers at an event in Rajasthan, General Dwivedi urged the troops to be prepared. “If God wills, you’ll get an opportunity shortly. Best wishes,” he added.
### Rising Tensions at the Border
The warning comes amid escalating tensions following reports that the Pakistan Army has recently expanded its military infrastructure near Sir Creek, an area along the India-Pakistan border.
India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also issued a stern caution on Thursday, warning Pakistan against any misadventures in the Sir Creek region. He emphasized that any aggressive moves would prompt a decisive response from India.
“The Indian Army and Border Security Force (BSF) are jointly and vigilantly protecting the borders of India,” Singh said. He further noted India’s military capabilities extend deep, stating India could reach Karachi through the creek if necessary.
### Government Stance on Military Response
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated India’s readiness to respond decisively to any future terrorist attacks. While India has currently paused military action, Modi stressed that this pause should not be mistaken for weakness.
“We have only paused our military action for now,” the Prime Minister affirmed.
### Reflecting on Operation Sindoor 1.0
Operation Sindoor 1.0 was launched in response to the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 tourists lost their lives. The operation targeted terrorist hideouts deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
India deliberately avoided civilian or non-military targets during the mission, illustrating its zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism while carefully preventing escalation into a full-scale war.
At the annual Air Force Day press conference, Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh explained, “We took a call to terminate those hostilities because our own objectives were met.”
