Dabang Delhi K.C. returned to the top of the table with a dominant display, recording a commanding 43-26 win against UP Yoddhas at the SDAT Multi Purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Friday.

Ashu Malik led the charge with a spectacular Super 10, while Fazel Atrachali contributed four tackle points, spearheading a comprehensive performance for their side.

The match began with Gagan Gowda setting the tone through a multi-point raid that gave UP Yoddhas an early two-point lead. However, Ashu Malik quickly leveled the score for Dabang Delhi. The two players exchanged raids with Neeraj Narwal, keeping the contest tightly balanced.

With both teams going toe-to-toe, Surjeet Singh registered the first tackle of the match on Bhavani Rajput. Despite this, UP Yoddhas managed to open an 8-6 lead after the opening ten minutes, thanks to contributions from Shivam Chaudhary and Gagan Gowda.

The second quarter saw Fazel Atrachali begin strongly with a tackle on Bhavani Rajput. Meanwhile, Ashu Malik showcased his raiding prowess by executing the first Super Raid of the game, helping his side seize the lead. Malik followed this up with another successful multi-point raid, cleaning up the Yoddhas and inflicting an ALL OUT to extend Dabang Delhi’s advantage to 14-9.

As the tempo slightly slowed, the defenders started to gain the upper hand. Ashu Malik continued his impressive form, amassing nine points in the first half, while Gagan Gowda led UP Yoddhas with eight points. In an enthralling first half characterized by shifting momentum, Joginder Narwal’s side held a narrow four-point lead at 17-13 going into halftime.

The second half started with Ashu Malik’s raid that took him to his eighth Super 10 of the season, further extending Dabang Delhi’s lead. Contributions from Ajinkya Pawar helped create some valuable distance between the teams.

Fazel Atrachali then increased the margin to eight points by helping his team inflict a second ALL OUT on the opponents. Even though Gagan Gowda achieved his own Super 10, UP Yoddhas struggled to close the gap.

Key defensive efforts from Surjeet Singh and Ajinkya Pawar kept Dabang Delhi firmly in control. With ten minutes remaining, they had established a steady nine-point lead.

Dabang Delhi K.C. maintained relentless pressure on both offense and defense, giving UP Yoddhas no breathing room. Building on a 12-point lead, they imposed a third ALL OUT, putting the game well beyond doubt. With under two minutes to play, their advantage had grown to an unassailable 15 points.

Fazel Atrachali just missed out on a High Five, finishing with four tackle points. Nonetheless, his side wrapped up a supreme performance, securing a resounding 16-point victory.

This win sees Dabang Delhi K.C. reclaim the top spot, demonstrating their strength and consistency in the competition.
