Mushroom Entries and Ranking Requirements
There are 16 different mushroom entries in the Field Guide. Each ranking level requires you to fully analyze a set number of these mushrooms:

Collecting Mushroom Samples
Mushroom patches spawn throughout the Deepmines during bounty missions. To help spot them easily, consider using the Orokin Eye ability on your Parallax ship — this makes mushrooms appear on your HUD.
Interacting with mushroom patches grants you a random sample. Each stage of mushroom growth requires a specific number of samples before you can proceed with analysis. Keep in mind that rarer mushrooms generally require more samples.
Bonus Samples Through Objectives
In addition to regular sampling, you can earn bonus mushroom samples by completing bonus objectives in your Deepmines bounties. Be attentive during your missions and aim to fulfill these objectives to speed up your ranking progress.
