The Role of Floette in Pokémon Legends Z-A
Floette is introduced early in the main campaign of Pokémon Legends Z-A, making it an integral part of the storyline. As you continue completing missions and approach the endgame, you will have the opportunity to add the Eternal Flower Floette to your team.
How to Add Eternal Flower Floette to Your Collection
If you check your Mega Evolution Pokédex, you may notice Floette listed as an entry, but it cannot be obtained until after you complete the main story of Pokémon Legends Z-A. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to acquire it:
- Complete the main campaign and all associated missions. Depending on how much time you spend on side missions, this process may take a while.
- After completing the story, participate in at least 15 battles in Infinite Royale mode.
- You will then face either Taunie or Urbain, depending on your initial character selection.
- Defeat Taunie or Urbain in battle.
- Following the battle, Emma will summon you and Jett.
- Emma will explain that Jett is the grandmother of Taunie/Urbain.
- Jett will apologize for the events that took place in Lumiose City and announce her resignation from Quasartico Inc.
- She will propose that Taunie or Urbain take over as the new CEO, and they will accept.
- Finally, Taunie or Urbain will ask their Floette to join your party to help protect Lumiose City, and they will also give you the Floettite—fulfilling AZ’s wish concerning Floette’s role as the protector of the city.
Why Add the Eternal Flower Floette?
The Eternal Flower Floette boasts significantly improved base stats compared to its standard form. It also has the ability to Mega Evolve, further enhancing its performance in battle. One of its standout moves is Light of Ruin, a powerful Fairy-type attack dealing 140 damage.
While it may not be necessary for every player’s battle strategy, adding the Eternal Flower Floette is essential for those aiming to complete their Pokédex and fully experience the game’s content.
