The Vikings activated linebacker Blake Cashman and outside linebacker Tyler Batty from injured reserve on Saturday, the team announced. With two open roster spots available, no corresponding moves were necessary.

Cashman injured his hamstring in the season opener after making three tackles but returned to practice earlier this week. He is currently in his second season with Minnesota, having recorded 112 total tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2024. During Cashman’s absence over the past four games, Eric Wilson filled his role on the field.

Tyler Batty, an undrafted rookie out of BYU, joined the Vikings this season. Unfortunately, a knee injury sustained during the preseason placed him on injured reserve at the start of the year. With his activation, the Vikings add depth to their linebacker corps moving forward.
