The Recon class features a powerful UAV drone that players can call in during a match. Once deployed, this UAV will spot and mark any enemy within 100 meters of your location for 60 seconds, providing a significant tactical advantage.
### How to Call in a UAV
To unlock the UAV, you need to max out the Recon training path during a multiplayer match. This training path is represented by a series of boxes on the right side of your screen and is also known as the Field Specs.
As you earn XP, the lowest box in the training path will begin to fill. When the box is completely full, it locks in, granting you the passive benefit it offers. Your XP will then start filling the next box, progressing you further along the path.
The UAV becomes available once you reach the top of this training path. At that point, you can call in the UAV by pressing the **6 key on PC** or both bumpers on a controller — that is, **RB + LB** on Xbox or **R1 + L1** on PlayStation.
### Important Tips
One challenging aspect of unlocking the UAV is managing your XP progress. XP gained for filling each box slowly decays over time unless the box is locked in. For example, if you’re halfway through filling the UAV box and stop earning XP for a short period, your progress will begin to drain. This mechanic adds a layer of strategy and urgency to maintaining a steady flow of XP during the match.
By understanding and mastering the Recon training path and keeping your XP topped up, you’ll be able to call in your UAV drone and gain the upper hand on your enemies.
