**Where to Find Shiny Mareep in Pokémon Legends: Z-A**
To unlock the Shiny Mareep, which appears in Wild Zone 1, you first need to reach Mission 8 in the main campaign. Once you complete this mission and achieve Rank V, head over to Lida. After chatting with her and defeating her in a battle, new side missions will become available.
At the northeast entrance of Wild Zone 1, you’ll find an NPC standing with two Mareeps. She mentions hearing a rumor about a Shiny Mareep lurking in Wild Zone 1 and asks for your help to find it.
**How to Catch the Shiny Mareep**
Enter Wild Zone 1 and make your way toward the section of fence blocked by two rocks, beyond which lies a small pool of water. If needed, break the rocks to proceed. Once inside, climb the ladder leading to the roof. Turn right and climb up to the next roof—this is where the Shiny Mareep will be waiting.
A cutscene will trigger as the NPC appears. While she’s happy just to have seen the Shiny Mareep, you will have the opportunity to catch it. Using a Great Ball worked well—wait for the Mareep to look away before throwing the ball to increase your chances of capture.
