As fantasy football managers might know, Tyler Warren, Jake Ferguson, CeeDee Lamb, and Bo Nix are all signed up to play in Week 9 along with most of the league. With Byemageddon over, things will get back to semi-normal in Week 9.
This means you may go from having most of your roster decided for you by simply who is available to having a sea of decisions to make. Luckily, Sportskeeda is here to help separate the must-plays from the must-sits. Here’s a look at who you need to get in your starting lineup as soon as possible and who you needed to pluck yesterday.

### Fantasy Football Week 9 Start ‘Em Picks
**70% Win Rate (110-25-1)**
Tyler Warren is continuing to dominate in his rookie season, sliding into the rookie tight end breakout role held by Brock Bowers a season ago. With the Pittsburgh Steelers on tap—having just surrendered huge numbers to Tucker Kraft—it could be the slam dunk of the week. If you have him, start him.
Kimani Vidal is clearly the solution the Los Angeles Chargers have been looking for with Omarion Hampton out. As such, until a radical change happens on the depth chart in LA, he should be started every week.
The Denver Broncos and Chargers defenses are also in for a big day in Week 9. The Chargers face the struggling Tennessee Titans, and the Broncos take on the struggling Texans offense.
**Must Starts:**
– Tyler Warren
– Kimani Vidal
– Chargers D/ST
– Alec Pierce
– Broncos D/ST
– Jake Ferguson
– CeeDee Lamb
– De’von Achane
– Jonathan Taylor

### Fantasy Football Week 9 Sit ‘Em Picks
While there are many start candidates in Week 9 fantasy football, there are plenty of sit candidates as well.
The Denver Broncos are coming off arguably their best win of the season in a game where the offense looked explosive. However, it’s going to be a different story in Week 9 against the Houston Texans’ quality defense. Unless you have no choice, you need to consider sitting all of your Broncos players, including Bo Nix.
Terry McLaurin has had a disappointing follow-up to his explosive 2024 campaign thus far. Managers should not rush to put him in their lineup just yet.
Jayden Daniels’ health remains a question mark, and unless McLaurin dominates against the Kansas City Chiefs, fantasy managers should avoid rushing him back into their lineup unless absolutely necessary.
Xavier Legette, who was a must-add waiver wire choice, appears to have fallen off considerably under Andy Dalton. Wait for Bryce Young to return before considering starting him again. With Young coming off an entire missed week of practice per the Panthers’ official injury report, the odds of seeing him in Week 9 are quite slim.
**Must Sits:**
– Dak Prescott
– Terry McLaurin
– Courtland Sutton
– Xavier Legette
– Khalil Shakir
– J. K. Dobbins
– RJ Harvey
– Bo Nix
– Chase Brown
– Stefon Diggs
– Troy Franklin

With these insights, you’ll be better prepared to set your Week 9 fantasy football lineup and maximize your chances for victory. Good luck!
