NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced during today’s GTC Keynote presentation that the company is manufacturing its Blackwell AI GPUs in America. The announcement was accompanied by a stylish video highlighting the revamped supply chain, showcasing NVIDIA’s commitment to reshoring production.
NVIDIA has been at the center of the Trump administration’s ongoing trade war, so this move aligns with the president’s push for technology firms to bring manufacturing back to the United States. Interestingly, just last week, Huang criticized the administration, pointing out that NVIDIA held a 95% market share in China before tariff escalations began in April 2025.
Despite the financial setbacks caused by having to cease all AI GPU business in China, Huang remained optimistic. He closed the announcement video at today’s GTC October 2025 Keynote by stating, “The age of AI has begun, made in America, made for the world.”
