Capcom had a lot to share about the upcoming **Resident Evil Requiem**, releasing a 10-minute “Road to Requiem” video on early Wednesday evening. The next installment in the Resident Evil series is now available for pre-order, but that’s not all the publisher had in store for fans.
Some special Resident Evil exclusives are on their way, with a couple of them coming to the **Nintendo Switch 2**. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem was first revealed during the September 2025 Nintendo Direct. While a mainline Resident Evil title coming to a Nintendo console is big news on its own, it seems Capcom isn’t stopping there.
During Wednesday’s Road to Requiem presentation, viewers learned about a special **Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller**. This controller will be available at the game’s launch and comes in a gunmetal black color with designs inspired by the game.
Even more exciting, the very first Resident Evil **Amiibo** is currently in development. The Amiibo will be modeled after the main protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, and is expected to be ready by Summer 2026. However, no images of the Amiibo were shown during the presentation.
Other items revealed included the **Resident Evil Deluxe Edition**, which features five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, and two weapon charms.
There’s still much more to uncover about Resident Evil Requiem, and to keep fans informed, Capcom is planning a special **Resident Evil Showcase** for early 2026. Stay tuned for more updates!
