**Check Out the New Story Trailer of I Hate This Place**

Broken Mirror Games and Skybound Entertainment have unveiled a new story trailer for *I Hate This Place*, alongside a revised release date. The eerie survival horror adventure is now scheduled to launch on January 29, 2026. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.

Originally set for release on November 7, 2025, the game’s delay comes as developer Rock Square Thunder takes extra time to refine features inspired by community feedback.

The team also released a fresh trailer that teases the unsettling chaos unfolding at Rutherford Ranch, offering a closer look at the psychological and supernatural forces driving its story. The trailer hints that players will uncover a deeper mystery when the full game arrives early next year.

“We had a lot of good feedback gathered from events like PAX, Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show, and from our recent public demo on Steam,” said Janusz Tarczykowski, Game Director at Rock Square Thunder. “The vision for the game stays the same, but this feedback highlighted a few tweaks or features that would really help the game feel just that much better.

“As we got closer and closer to release, we had to keep moving many of these additions to post-launch support. But we feel the game deserves to make a good first impression, so we rethought things and together with Broken Mirror Games decided to move the date to January 2026.”

Tarczykowski also explained that ensuring quality across all platforms played a major role in the decision. With the extra development time, the team aims to deliver the best possible version of *I Hate This Place* from day one.

The game promises to deliver an experience that blends psychological tension, horror, and mystery in one unsettling package. Stay tuned for more updates as the release approaches.
