Jordon Hudson, the girlfriend of North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick, poked fun at herself with her Halloween costume over the weekend. Hudson shared a selfie on her Instagram on Saturday, showing little smile or smirk in the photo.
“The costume I never seem to be able to take off,” she captioned the picture.
This Halloween look was a stark contrast to last year’s couple’s costume, when Hudson dressed as a mermaid and Belichick was styled as a fisherman. Oh, how times have changed.
That photo was taken before Belichick decided to take the Tar Heels’ job before the 2024 season was finished. His decision kicked off a whirlwind few months that put the spotlight on his relationship with Hudson.
The drama escalated during Belichick’s interview on CBS, when Hudson abruptly shut down a seemingly innocuous question about how they met. Since then, they have been the subject of jokes and intense speculation about whether Hudson has been a distraction within the football program.
Tar Heels players have denied that Hudson has caused any turmoil on the field or in the locker room. Despite North Carolina’s tough season, Hudson has been seen at many home games supporting her boyfriend and the team.
