With the year rapidly coming to a close, it’s time for one more Hearthstone expansion for 2025. The Year of the Raptor takes a stroll through the ages with **Hearthstone: Across the Timeways**, a set that’s all about messing with the fabric of time.
The latest expansion adds 145 cards across all 11 of the game’s classes and introduces some new mechanics, including the intriguing new **Rewind** keyword. Across the Timeways is set to arrive today, which means it’s time again to take a look at some decks from Hearthstone’s most recognizable pros and streamers.
Shacknews had a chance to play against some of these decks during the recent Hearthstone Theorycrafting session. While I didn’t have a lot of success, I had a lot of fun and was able to pick up some valuable intel on this new set. Let’s check out some deck ideas to help you get through the first day of this new expansion.

### Clark Hellscream’s Location Druid
– 2x (0) Construct Pylons
– 2x (0) Innervate
– 2x (1) Waveshaping
– 2x (2) Reforestation
– 2x (2) Story of Barnabus
– 2x (3) Contingency
– 2x (3) New Heights
– 2x (3) Swipe
– 1x (4) Elise the Navigator
– 1x (4) The Well of Eternity
– 1x (4) Zin-Azshari
– 2x (5) Chrono Boost
– 1x (5) Lady Azshara
– 2x (5) Scrapbooking Student
– 2x (5) Soldier of the Bronze
– 1x (6) Evergreen Stag
– 1x (7) Final Frontier
– 1x (8) Artanis
– 1x (9) Zilliax Deluxe
**Deck ID:** Twin Module (5) Perfect Module
This Druid deck sneaks up on players if they’re not careful. How do I know this? Well, I was the hapless Patron player Clark queued against twice. I took my foot off the gas, thinking I had things under control, not realizing that a buffed-up **Zin-Azshari** location could hit for an obscene amount in a single turn by doubling the stats of a minion on the board.
Yes, that includes the Protoss minions with Charge. Once your **Zin-Azshari** is buffed, make a copy of it with **Scrapbooking Student**, and you’ll be in prime position for a one-turn kill. Chances are, your opponent won’t see it coming—I certainly didn’t.

### Warshack’s Midrange Hunter
– 2x (1) Quel’dorei Fletcher
– 2x (1) Slumbering Sprite
– 2x (1) Wound Prey
– 2x (2) Jungle Gym
– 2x (2) Patchwork Pals
– 2x (2) Remote Control
– 2x (2) Untimely Death
– 2x (3) Portal Vanguard
– 1x (3) Ranger General Sylvanas
– 1x (3) Ranger Captain Alleria
– 1x (3) Ranger Initiate Vereesa
– 2x (3) Wormhole
– 1x (4) Nightmare Lord Xavius
– 2x (4) Past Silvermoon
– 2x (4) R. C. Rampage
– 2x (5) Devious Coyote
– 2x (6) Ankylodon
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
Hunter has more than just aggro tools: it boasts sturdy midrange cards like **Ankylodon** and **Devious Coyote**. When paired with the new **Untimely Death** Secret, these minions simply come back to the board if removed on the next turn.
The synergy with **Windrunner** minions makes this deck potent—the more Windrunners played, the stronger their effects become. Use tools like **Portal Vanguard** to quickly find key minions and bolster your strategy.

### Christian’s Dragon Warrior
– 2x (1) Darkrider
– 2x (1) Giftwrapped Whelp
– 2x (2) Petal Peddler
– 2x (2) Precursory Strike
– 2x (2) Quality Assurance
– 2x (2) Shadowflame Suffusion
– 1x (2) Shield Block
– 2x (3) Portal Vanguard
– 1x (3) Timelord Nozdormu
– 1x (4) Nightmare Lord Xavius
– 1x (4) Stadium Announcer
– 2x (5) Ancient of Yore
– 2x (5) Chemical Spill
– 1x (5) For Glory!
– 2x (5) Heir of Hereafter
– 1x (6) Chrono-Lord Epoch
– 1x (7) Lo’Gosh, Blood Fighter
– 1x (7) Broll, Blood Fighter
– 1x (7) Valeera, Blood Fighter
– 1x (10) Tortolla
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
This Warrior deck hinges on playing its powerful Fabled Legendaries by turn 7, which isn’t always easy in an aggro-heavy meta. Luckily, the deck’s control tools and low-cost Dragons help keep it in the game until **Lo’Gosh**, **Broll**, and **Valeera** hit the board.
These legendaries hit hard and have Deathrattle effects that summon buffed versions of each other, making removal difficult for opponents.
Additionally, **Chemical Spill** can accelerate their arrival on turn 5 for an earlier impact.
Another MVP is **Chrono-Lord Epoch**, which can erase all minions your opponent played last turn, potentially swinging the game in your favor.

### Brigitteous’ Nature Shaman
– 2x (0) Static Shock
– 1x (1) Lightning Bolt
– 2x (1) Lightning Rod
– 2x (2) Flux Revenant
– 2x (2) Primordial Overseer
– 2x (2) Thunderquake
– 2x (3) Far Sight
– 2x (3) Hex
– 2x (3) Nascent Bolt
– 2x (3) Portal Vanguard
– 1x (3) Timelord Nozdormu
– 1x (4) Farseer Wo
– 1x (4) Nightmare Lord Xavius
– 1x (5) Muradin, High King
– 1x (6) High King’s Hammer
– 1x (3) Avatar Form
– 2x (5) Stormrook
– 2x (6) Instant Multiverse
– 1x (6) Krag’wa, the Frog
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
This Shaman deck introduces Nature spells that affect both the opponent and its own minions. This “self-harm” mechanic is surprisingly powerful when paired with minions like **Flux Revenant** and **Stormrook**, which gain benefits when hit by Nature spells.
**Krag’wa, the Frog** enables you to refresh many of those Nature spells by returning them to your hand, allowing repeated plays.
The new Fabled Legendary **Muradin, High King** quickly buffs himself and his weapon, becoming a formidable threat if not addressed swiftly.

### Nohandsgamer’s Dragon OTK Mage
– 2x (1) Go with the Flow
– 2x (1) Mirror Dimension
– 2x (2) Primordial Glyph
– 2x (3) Arcane Barrage
– 2x (3) Arcane Intellect
– 2x (3) Buy One, Get One Free
– 2x (3) Portal Vanguard
– 2x (3) Rising Waves
– 2x (3) Storage Scuffle
– 2x (3) Tide Pools
– 2x (3) Watercolor Artist
– 1x (4) Alter Time
– 1x (4) Nightmare Lord Xavius
– 2x (4) Pocket Dimension
– 1x (5) Azure Queen Sindragosa
– 1x (5) Azure King Malygos
– 1x (8) Azure Oathstone
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
While this Mage deck doesn’t rely heavily on Dragons, the few it includes pack a punch. The key combo revolves around **Buy One, Get One Free** discounted to zero cost by **Watercolor Artist**. This enables casting powerful Dragons like **Azure King Malygos** multiple times to unleash devastating Arcane combos in a single turn.
Though the combo can falter if you draw the BOGO spells naturally (without discounts), landing this discount can result in spectacular damage.
Surviving long enough to execute the combo is challenging in the current aggro-oriented meta.

### Trump’s Handbuff Priest
– 2x (1) Overzealous Healer
– 2x (1) Paltry Flutterwing
– 2x (2) Amber Priestess
– 2x (2) Lunarwing Messenger

– 2x (2) Power Word: Barrier
– 2x (2) Spirit of the Kaldorei

– 2x (3) Disciple of the Dove
– 2x (3) Kaldorei Priestess

– 2x (4) Flutterwing Guardian
– 2x (5) Divine Augur
– 2x (5) Soldier of the Bronze
– 1x (6) Eternus
– 1x (6) Zilliax Deluxe
– 1x (8) Malorne the Waywatcher
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
Unlike many who focused on Medivh during the Theorycrafting session, Trump emphasized the new handbuff tools available this expansion.
Cards such as **Power Word: Barrier**, **Disciple of the Dove**, and **Divine Augur** significantly buff minion stats as they enter your hand or board.
If plans with minions in hand don’t pan out, Priest’s various Imbue tools serve as reliable backups.

### Warshack’s Combo Rogue

– 2x (0) Shadowstep
– 2x (1) Deja Vu
– 2x (1) Dig for Treasure
– 2x (1) Shapeshifter
– 2x (2) Oh, Manager!
– 1x (2) The Kingslayers
– 2x (3) Chrono Daggers
– 1x (3) King Liane
– 2x (3) Metal Detector
– 2x (4) Dubious Purchase
– 1x (4) Fast Forward
– 1x (4) Garona Halforcen
– 2x (4) Sonya Waterdancer
– 2x (4) Time Skipper
– 1x (5) Sandbox Scoundrel
– 1x (7) Chrono-Lord Deios
– 1x (7) Incindius
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
MarkMcKz returns with a meme-style Rogue deck requiring many moving parts to succeed.
The goal is to play **Chrono-Lord Deios**, a Mini **Sandbox Scoundrel**, **Sonya Waterdancer**, and another Mini **Sandbox Scoundrel** to reduce **Incindius**’ cost to just (1).
Upon doing this, Sonya will copy Incindius, and with Chrono-Lord Deios’ effect, Incindius’ Battlecry and End of Turn effects trigger twice, leading to massive damage.
Timing is crucial—you must survive long enough to execute this combo and prevent your opponent from having lethal next turn.

### Kris O’ Five’s Bwonsamdi Death Knight
– 2x (1) Morbid Swarm
– 2x (1) Orbital Moon
– 2x (2) Brittlebone Buccaneer
– 2x (2) Dreadhound Handler
– 2x (3) Blood Draw
– 2x (3) Chillfallen Baron
– 2x (3) Liferender
– 2x (3) Staff of the Endbringer
– 1x (3) What Befell Zandalar
– 2x (4) Husk, Eternal Reaper
– 1x (4) Memoriam Manifest
– 1x (4) Nightmare Lord Xavius
– 2x (4) Sanguine Infestation
– 1x (4) Talanji of the Graves
– 2x (5) Ancient of Yore
– 1x (5) Carnivorous Cubicle
– 1x (5) Corpse Explosion
– 1x (6) Bwonsamdi
– 1x (7) Endbringer Umbra
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
Bwonsamdi is truly the gift that keeps on giving—if the deck can keep bringing him back.
Avoid including Undead minions more expensive than Bwonsamdi, as **Memoriam Manifest** allows him to be revived repeatedly.
If Bwonsamdi survives multiple turns, **Carnivorous Cubicle** can also keep him coming back.
When enough Bwonsamdis see play, **Endbringer Umbra** can activate their Deathrattles, quickly flooding the board with powerful minions.

– 2x (3) Lasting Legacy
– 2x (3) Paraglide
– 2x (3) Wyvern’s Slumber
– 1x (4) Hounds of Fury
– 1x (6) The Eternal Hold
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
Zeddy has grown fond of this new Demon Hunter gimmick.
The objective is to activate **Portals to Argus** and kill the resulting demons, which will summon a 12/12 Charge Broxigar.
This deck runs only spells and weapons; cards like **Blind Box** and **Time-Lost Glaive** find minions, while spells like **Solitude** buff them.
The synergy feeds into **The Eternal Hold**, which allows players to discover a high-cost Demon for free.

### Ozzie’s Rafaam Warlock

– 1x (4) Explorer Rafaam
– 1x (5) Warchief Rafaam
– 1x (7) Mindflayer R’faam
– 1x (6) Calamitous Rafaam
– 1x (8) Giant Rafaam
– 1x (3) Murloc Rafaam
– 1x (9) Archmage Rafaam
**Deck ID:** [Insert Deck ID]
While there are some notable downsides to the Rafaam Warlock deck—such as the luck-based nature of drawing specific Rafaams—the deck is incredibly fun, focusing on a fast win condition by getting Rafaam online.
Even if the OTK (one-turn kill) doesn’t pan out, the individual Rafaams are formidable on their own, with powerful bodies and abilities like Polymorphing the board or duplicating themselves.
Buffing them with **Nightmare Lord Xavius** further increases their threat.
Don’t underestimate Rafaam—he might surprise you!
