The Young Bucks have been going through a turbulent time in AEW recently. Amid their struggles, a top champion in the company extended an intriguing offer to the duo to join his faction.
Not long ago, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) were among the most prominent figures in the Jacksonville-based promotion, serving as its Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs). However, since losing their EVP roles at All In, the Bucks’ standing within AEW has significantly declined, and they are reportedly facing serious financial difficulties.
On the latest episode of their *Being the Elite* YouTube channel vlog, the former AEW Tag Team Champions were seen interacting with Kazuchika Okada, the AEW Unified Champion. In the video, the Bucks thanked Okada for letting them stay in his room, which implied that no other provisions had been made for them.
Aware of their situation, Kazuchika first offered the brothers some money, but they politely refused. He then invited them to join the Don Callis Family faction. Okada remarked, “Maybe you guys should join the Don Callis Family? It’s not so bad.”

### Potential Reunion at AEW Full Gear
AEW wouldn’t be what it is today without the combined efforts of three key men: Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson — collectively known as The Elite. That said, the trio has recently been at odds and no longer see eye to eye.
However, Dave Meltzer, on a recent edition of *Wrestling Observer Radio*, revealed that Tony Khan might be planning to reunite Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks soon.
At Full Gear 2025, a highly anticipated trios match has been confirmed: The Young Bucks will team up with Josh Alexander, while Kenny Omega will partner with Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus). The winning team will receive a prize of one million dollars.
According to Meltzer, Matt and Nick aren’t thrilled about facing Kenny Omega, also known as The Cleaner, which suggests that a reunion of The Elite may happen in the near future — potentially around Full Gear.
