**EXCLUSIVE: VMI Acquires World Rights to Sci-Fi Thriller *The Experiment***
VMI has secured the world rights to *The Experiment*, an intense new film starring Famke Janssen (*X-Men*) and Rhona Mitra (*Underworld: Rise of the Lycans*). Set in the year 2080, the story unfolds in a world recovering from a devastating nuclear war. An elite special ops team, led by Captain Ava Stone (played by Mitra), is sent on a rescue mission to a top-secret military research facility. However, what they uncover is far more sinister than anticipated, turning their mission into a desperate battle for survival.
The film is directed by Chee Keong Cheung and written by Alistair Cave, Matthew Edwards, and Oliver Morran, based on an original story by Cheung. Producers on the project include Chee Keong Cheung, Ioanna Karavela (*Redcon-1*), and Andreas Roald (*Triangle of Sadness*). Filming took place at Rebellion Studios in Oxfordshire, lending the production a high-quality visual aesthetic.
VMI plans to introduce *The Experiment* to buyers at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM). The deal was brokered by VMI’s CEO Andre Relis and COO Jessica Russo, alongside Chee Keong Cheung representing Action Xtreme. Derek Rogers serves dual roles as both Director of Photography and Executive Producer.
The cast boasts additional talent including Stefanie Martini (*Crooked House*), Roxanne McKee (*Game of Thrones*), and Razaaq Adoti (*Black Hawk Down*).
