The Colorado Buffaloes hit the road to West Virginia on Saturday in desperate need of a win. However, that effort came without their top offensive lineman, Jordan Seaton. The former five-star left tackle was ruled out and was seen on the sideline in street clothes, wearing a walking boot on his right foot.

Seaton was a game-time decision but ultimately missed his first game for the Buffaloes this season. He was one of over 30 schools to offer him, with Tennessee, Ohio State, Oregon, and Georgia making his final five in the 2024 recruiting class.

Shedeur Sanders played a key role throughout the entire recruitment process, keeping Seaton as a priority. The IMG Academy prospect was part of Coach Prime’s Florida pipeline haul that year. Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 310 pounds, Seaton was ranked as the 15th-best recruit in the nation. He also became Colorado’s fourth five-star talent since Sanders arrived in Boulder in 2023.

Travis Hunter, an original five-star in the 2022 class, went on to win a Heisman Trophy. The duo is joined on the team by cornerback Cormani McClain, who transferred from Miami, and quarterback Julian Lewis, who earned his first career start on Saturday.

Seaton being out is a tremendous blow for the Buffaloes as they face a postseason elimination game against West Virginia. The team will need to step up to overcome this setback and secure the victory they desperately need.
