Nov. 13 (UPI) – *English Teacher*, a comedy series starring Brian Jordan Alvarez, Stephanie Koenig, and Enrico Colantoni, has been canceled after two seasons on FX.
The news was reported Wednesday by Deadline, TVLine, and The Hollywood Reporter, though no official reason has been provided by the cable network for the cancellation.
Created by and starring Alvarez, the show centers on a gay Texas high school teacher trying to balance his personal life and career.
Earlier this year, Alvarez faced accusations of sexually assaulting a collaborator from the 2010s. He has denied any wrongdoing. At the time, FX stated that the complainant had not reached out to the network directly to voice their concerns.
