Yesterday, Bollywood Hungama was the first to predict that Rizwan Sajan, the founder and chairman of Danube Group, would launch a tower named after Shah Rukh Khan at an event held in Mumbai on November 14. Our news break came true when SRK himself graced the occasion for the launch of the skyscraper, called *Shahrukhz By Danube*, and as expected, he raised laughs and touched hearts with his memorable quotes.
### Shahrukhz By Danube Launch: Shah Rukh Khan’s 30-minute Zoom Miracle
During the event, Rizwan Sajan revealed a heartfelt and thoughtful gesture by Shah Rukh Khan that won over many hearts. Rizwan shared, “Once, I was returning from Mumbai. Fortunately, Shah Rukh and Pooja Dadlani were on the same Emirates flight. We greeted each other, and I was sitting right behind him. I called my wife, Sameera, who’s a huge fan of his, and informed her about it. She asked me to talk to Shah Rukh because she was not well. She told me, ‘Please tell Shah Rukh that I love him and that he should pray for me.’ I was hesitant about intruding on their privacy but she insisted.”
Rizwan continued, “I asked Pooja to allow me to speak to Shah Rukh for just two minutes. When the flight landed, Shah Rukh called me. I relayed my wife’s message to him. Shah Rukh, being humble and kind as always, asked when I would reach home. I told him I’d be home in half an hour. Meanwhile, my son Adel and Sameera were in London. I didn’t tell Sameera anything. Once I reached home, I put them on the line. Shah Rukh then joined a Zoom call with her.”
“What happened next was incredible. He spoke to her not just for five minutes but for more than thirty long minutes. He gave her solace and wished her good health. He told her, ‘Sameera, you’ll be fine,’ and prayed for her recovery. Anyone else in his place might have prayed and moved on, but Shah Rukh’s gesture deeply touched all of us,” Rizwan added.
### The Idea Behind the Tower
Rizwan also shared the inspiration behind naming the tower after Shah Rukh Khan. “Once, when I was in London, I had a dream at 6 in the morning that I was building this tower and naming it after Shah Rukh. Sameera immediately loved the idea. Adel, Sana, and my marketing team were also very excited. I then messaged Pooja and asked if naming a tower after Shah Rukh was possible. After a few days, she said yes. The very next day, I was at Shah Rukh’s house, and we finalized the project.”
The evening’s host, Farah Khan, lightened the mood by quipping, “When Pooja says ‘It’s possible’, only then it’s possible!”
### Historic Moment: Shahrukhz By Danube
The event was historic as it marked the launch of a Dubai tower named after Shah Rukh Khan, *Shahrukhz By Danube*. The skyscraper will feature a statue of the King Khan himself.
Shah Rukh Khan, in his signature style, commented on the occasion, “Meri maa zinda hoti toh bahut khush hoti!” He further added with a smile, “Eid ke chand ki tarah main bahar kam aata hoon. Lekin jab aata hoon, tab kamaal aata hoon!”
