Ric Flair Says Shawn Michaels Was Very Angry With Him After He Made Him Drink Alcohol: “F**k You”

Shawn Michaels was very angry with Ric Flair once, after he took things too far. The star cursed him out as well. Speaking on Games with Names, Ric Flair said that Shawn Michaels asked him why he drank all the time, and that there were days that he could sit and watch TV instead of drinking. “He said, ‘Are you ever going to grow up?’ I say, ‘What do you mean grow up?’ He said, ‘Why don’t you sit there and watch TV, you don’t need to drink all the time?’ I said, ‘Yeah I do, as a matter of fact I do, I like watching TV.'” Ad Trending Ric Flair then convinced Michaels to have a drink with him the next day. The two ended up drinking several beers over a flight. When they arrived at the hotel, Michaels was convinced he’d hang out with Flair for a night. The two kept drinking along with a few others at the hotel bar until three in the morning, by which time HBK was very drunk. The Hardy Boyz needed to take him to his room later as a result. Ad The next morning, he was not feeling well naturally and told Flair that hanging around with him never worked out well for anyone. It should be noted that this was after Michaels had stopped drinking after having demons with addiction earlier in his life. “So anyway, the next day, I say, ‘Just have one beer right?’ (laughs) So, one led to two, two led to three. Finally we landed in Paris, and he said, ‘Okay, I’m just going to do your think one time and just and that’s it. I’m done f**king around with this sh**.’ So I walk into the hotel. I don’t even go upstairs. I pay the guy to take my bags upstairs and I go right to the bar. And then I get food to go from the restaurants that are open and all that. We stayed up till 3 ‘o’ clock in the morning. Shawn got murdered (laughs). The Hardy Boyz had to take him to his room. He got up the next day. He said, ‘F**k you.’ He got on a plane and went home. So I said, ‘I didn’t force you to do it.’ He said, ‘God damn it. That’s what hanging around with you does to everybody.'” Ad Ad Ric Flair said that Vince McMahon warned him He went on to say that Michaels was distraught the next morning and cursed at Flair before leaving for home.
