Rachel Maddow will host a live event in Los Angeles next month tied to her latest podcast, Rachel Maddow Presents: Burn Order. The MS NOW event will take place at 5 p. m. PT on Dec. 14 at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. The event also will air as a MS NOW primetime special on Dec. 19. The six-part podcast, debuting Dec. 1, looks at the events that led to the U. S. government decision to incarcerate immigrants and citizens during World War II based on their race. At the live event, Maddow will discuss the issues raised by the podcast, with guests to be announced. Maddow’s previous podcast projects include Bag Man, Ultra Season One and Ultra Season Two. Her projects also include the documentary features From Russia with Lev and Andrew Young: The Dirty Work.
