A major leadership change is coming to one of Sony’s first-party studios, as Brian Fleming is set to leave Sucker Punch Productions.

Fleming, a co-founder of the studio behind the acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima series, will be handing off leadership duties to Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley. Sony announced in a recent blog post that Connell and Bentley will take over as studio heads starting January 1, 2026.

Jason Connell served as Co-Creative Director, while Adrian Bentley was the Technical Director on the Ghost of Tsushima series, making them well-equipped to lead the studio into its next chapter.

Brian Fleming confirmed in a LinkedIn post that he will remain with Sucker Punch through April 2026 to assist with the transition process. Interestingly, Fleming also hinted that his journey in the gaming industry isn’t over yet, leaving fans curious about his next move.

This leadership shift marks a significant moment for Sucker Punch Productions as the studio prepares for its future under new guidance.
