CLEVELAND (AP) — Josh Dixon scored 28 points to lead Milwaukee in an 81-71 victory over Cleveland State on Sunday.
Dixon shot 10 of 19 from the field, including 4 for 10 from three-point range, and went a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line for the Panthers, who improved to 6-6 overall and 2-0 in Horizon League play.
Danilo Jovanovich contributed 18 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Chandler Jackson added 14 points, shooting 5 for 8 from the field and 4 for 6 from beyond the arc.
For the Vikings, who fell to 4-10 overall and 0-3 in the conference, Chevalier Emery led the way with 22 points. Tre Beard chipped in 14 points and six rebounds, while Holden Pierre-Louis finished with 12 points, six rebounds, and three blocks.
