Irish clothing brand Beir Bua has reimagined NFL teams as GAA clubs for its latest range of limited edition jerseys. These unique jerseys will go on sale this Friday, exclusively at the NFL Shop in Dublin.
The launch of the jerseys comes ahead of the exciting fixture between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings, set to take place at Croke Park on Sunday, September 28th, at 2:30 pm.
In an interview with Off The Ball, Ciaran Jordan of Fanatics, the retail partner of the NFL, shared insights into the collaboration. He said, “When we knew the game was coming here, we wanted to find product stories and collaborations that would really resonate here in Ireland.
“We approached the team at Beir Bua, and they’ve obviously got this brilliant heritage in telling retro GAA stories. We asked them: ‘What would it look like if the Vikings or the Steelers were GAA teams?’ And we’ve got the jerseys here.
“It’s really cool, and we’ve got a little bit of stitching here to mark the occasion on Sunday. It’s really limited edition so we think this will go fast.”
Jordan also revealed that there will be “a little bit of a party” instore during the launch on Friday evening. He added that he hopes “the queue’s not too long for people who come out.”
Don’t miss your chance to get one of these exclusive jerseys ahead of the big game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park this Sunday.
