NXT and TNA have been at odds for some time now, with members of each promotion crossing over to compete on various shows. The rivalry has been fairly lopsided, with the NXT side enjoying most of the success in these battles.
In fact, Trick Williams and Kelani Jordan—both NXT stars—are currently the top men’s and women’s champions for TNA, respectively. This ongoing competition reached a boiling point this past week when TNA invaded NXT, proclaiming they’ve had enough of being disrespected.
To resolve the conflict, Ava and Santino Marella came up with a joint show called **Invasion**, scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The event will feature Survivor Series-style elimination matches, with a 5-v-5 format in both the men’s and women’s divisions. Team lineups will be revealed this coming Tuesday night.
In addition to those matches, the tag team champions from each brand will face off in a winner-takes-all bout: **DarkState** versus **The Hardy Boyz**.
