Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson was mugged in Dublin on Friday night, ahead of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park.
A spokesperson for the team has confirmed that they are working with NFL security to gather further details regarding the incident.
It is understood that the 28-year-old player suffered minor injuries. However, Thompson was already on the reserve panel after sustaining a hamstring injury earlier this month.
