MANILA, Philippines – Mika Immonen, the Finnish pool player who won two world championships, passed away on Monday after a battle with cancer. He was 52 years old.

Tributes from Matchroom Sport and fellow cue artists poured in to honor Immonen’s legacy. He was the winner of the 2001 World Pool Championship and the 2009 World 10-Ball Championship.
