Out of the 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), seven will be sponsored by the Union Home Ministry, while the remaining schools will be supported by state governments.

Additionally, twenty of these newly approved KVs are planned to be established in districts that currently do not have any KV, despite having a significant number of Central Government employees. This move aims to enhance educational access for the children of government personnel in underserved areas.
