Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has issued a stern warning to Pakistan, declaring that India will no longer exercise restraint in its responses to state-sponsored terrorism.
“This time, we will not maintain the restraint that we had in Operation Sindoor 1.0. This time, we will do something that will make Pakistan think whether it wants to retain its place in Geography or not. If Pakistan wants to retain its place in Geography, then it must stop state-sponsored terrorism,” General Dwivedi stated emphatically.
He also called upon soldiers to be ready for imminent action, saying, “If God wills, you’ll get an opportunity shortly. Best wishes.”
**Rising Tensions on the Border**
The warning comes amid reports that the Pakistan Army has recently expanded its military infrastructure near the contested Sir Creek area. In response, India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh cautioned Pakistan against any misadventures in the region, promising a decisive response should provocations continue.
“The Indian Army and BSF are jointly and vigilantly protecting the borders of India,” the Defence Minister affirmed. He further highlighted India’s military capabilities, noting that Indian forces could effectively reach Karachi through the Sir Creek creek if required.
**India’s Readiness to Act**
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated India’s preparedness to respond decisively to any future terror attacks. Emphasizing cautious patience, he mentioned that India has only “paused” military action for now.
**Background: Operation Sindoor 1.0**
Operation Sindoor 1.0 was launched as a response to the Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 tourists lost their lives. The operation targeted terrorist hideouts deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. India carefully avoided civilian or non-terror military targets during the operation, signaling its zero-tolerance policy on terrorism while aiming to prevent escalation into full-scale war.
At the recent annual Air Force Day press conference, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh explained, “We took a call to terminate those hostilities because our own objectives were met.”

With these firm declarations, India underscores its commitment to safeguarding national security and sending a clear message that Pakistan’s continued state-sponsored terrorism will not be tolerated.
