Tonight on The Stevetendo Show, we’re diving back into our Donkey Kong Bananaz playthrough. It feels like it’s been a while since we last played, but we’re fixing that this evening.
In our previous Donkey Kong Bananaz episode, we made it through the Radiance Layer and defeated the boss. Along the way, we had a little mishap — getting arrested and sentenced to “hard time” in the Groove Layer. After clearing up that misunderstanding, we got back on track and ventured down to the Feast Layer.
The Feast Layer is like a giant amusement park, complete with fried food and thrilling rides. It’s also the last large layer in the game, which means we’re getting closer to the end of our journey. If all goes according to plan, we might even beat the game tonight!
We’ll be going live at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT, so be sure to join The Stevetendo Show for more exciting Donkey Kong Bananaz gameplay. Shackers who want to join in the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where The Stevetendo Show streams every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
If you can’t make it to tonight’s show, don’t worry — you can catch us Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT. Coming up on the show, we’ll also continue our Pokémon Legends: Arceus playthrough.
As for what’s coming after Halloween, I haven’t decided if Crow Country will return. I’m leaning toward Super Mario Galaxy 2 taking over the Monday time slot, but only time will tell. The action is heating up, and you definitely won’t want to miss it.
Be sure to check out both the Shacknews Twitch channel and the Shacknews VODs YouTube channel to catch up on your favorite shows. Make sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel and follow the Twitch channel to stay updated.
If you aren’t aware, Shacknews has a new service called Shackmaps. The talented Shacknews staff has curated maps and guides for some of your favorite video games to help you avoid getting lost.
It’s also a sports night in The Stevetendo Show house! The Devils are playing the Avalanche, so we’ll be keeping an eye on that score during the stream. On top of that, it’s game four of the World Series — another score we won’t miss.
I’ll be sharing some of my favorite Halloween stories as well, so swing by the show for some spooky fun.
Keep sending in your game recommendations for The Stevetendo Show. If it’s on the Nintendo Switch 2 or the Nintendo Switch Online service, it might just take center stage in an upcoming episode. You never know when Nintendo will add something new to the service, so stay tuned!
