With the year rapidly coming to a close, it’s time for one more Hearthstone expansion for 2025. The Year of the Raptor takes a stroll through the ages with **Hearthstone: Across the Timeways**, a set that’s all about messing with the fabric of time.
The latest expansion adds 145 cards across all 11 of the game’s classes and features some new mechanics, including the intriguing new **Rewind** keyword. Across the Timeways is set to arrive today, which means it’s time again to take a look at some decks from Hearthstone’s most recognizable pros and streamers.
Shacknews had a chance to play against some of these decks during the recent Hearthstone Theorycrafting session. While I didn’t have a lot of success, I did have a lot of fun and was able to pick up some valuable intel on this new set. Let’s check out some deck ideas to help you get through the first day of this new expansion.

**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
This Druid deck sneaks up on players if they’re not careful. How do I know? I was the hapless Patron player Clark queued up against twice! Taking my foot off the gas, thinking I had things under control, I didn’t realize how the buffed-up Zin-Azshari location could hit for an obscene amount by doubling the stats of a minion on the board — including Protoss minions with Charge.
Once your Zin-Azshari is buffed, make a copy of it with Scrapbooking Student, and you’ll be in prime position for a one-turn kill. There’s a good chance the opponent won’t even see it coming—I certainly didn’t.

– 2x Slumbering Sprite (1)
– 2x Wound Prey (1)
– 2x Jungle Gym (2)

– 2x Remote Control (2)

– 2x Past Silvermoon (4)
– 2x R. C. Rampage (4)
– 2x Devious Coyote (5)
– 2x Ankylodon (6)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
Hunter has more than just aggro tools this time. Midrange cards like Ankylodon and Devious Coyote promise to be more valuable than ever. Combined with the new **Untimely Death** Secret, these minions simply pop back up on the board if removed by the opponent on their next turn.
The more Windrunners you have in play, the stronger their effect becomes. Find them quickly with cards like Portal Vanguard to maximize their impact.

### Christian’s Dragon Warrior
– 2x Darkrider (1)
– 2x Giftwrapped Whelp (1)
– 2x Petal Peddler (2)
– 2x Precursory Strike (2)
– 2x Quality Assurance (2)
– 2x Shadowflame Suffusion (2)
– 1x Shield Block (2)
– 2x Portal Vanguard (3)
– 1x Timelord Nozdormu (3)
– 1x Nightmare Lord Xavius (4)
– 1x Stadium Announcer (4)
– 2x Ancient of Yore (5)
– 2x Chemical Spill (5)
– 1x For Glory! (5)
– 2x Heir of Hereafter (6)
– 1x Chrono-Lord Epoch (7)
– 1x Lo’Gosh, Blood Fighter (7)
– 1x Broll, Blood Fighter (7)
– 1x Valeera, Blood Fighter (7)
– 1x Tortolla (10)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
This Dragon Warrior deck relies on its Fabled Legendaries which require reaching 7 Mana—a challenge in an aggro-oriented meta. Fortunately, control tools and lower-cost Dragons help keep the deck afloat until Lo’Gosh, Broll, and Valeera hit the board. Their Deathrattles summon buffed versions of each other, making them tough to remove.
Chemical Spill can accelerate your game plan by bringing these powerful minions online earlier. Another standout card is **Chrono-Lord Epoch**, capable of erasing any minions played by your opponent on the previous turn—a move that can decisively swing the game.

### Brigitteous’ Nature Shaman
– 2x Static Shock (0)
– 1x Lightning Bolt (1)
– 2x Lightning Rod (1)
– 2x Flux Revenant (2)
– 2x Primordial Overseer (2)
– 2x Thunderquake (2)
– 2x Far Sight (3)
– 2x Hex (3)
– 2x Nascent Bolt (3)

– 1x Avatar Form (3)
– 2x Stormrook (5)
– 2x Instant Multiverse (6)
– 1x Krag’wa, the Frog (6)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
This Shaman deck is unique: it uses Nature spells that affect both the opponent and your own minions. The synergy works because minions like the new Flux Revenant and Stormrook gain powerful effects whenever they’re hit by these spells.
**Krag’wa, the Frog** refreshes many Nature spells by returning them to your hand, enabling repeated use. Muradin, High King, a new Fabled Legendary, buffs himself quickly and proves to be a late-game powerhouse, especially when combined with his weapon that grows stronger each turn.

### Nohandsgamer’s Dragon OTK Mage
– 2x Go with the Flow (1)
– 2x Mirror Dimension (1)
– 2x Primordial Glyph (2)
– 2x Arcane Barrage (3)
– 2x Arcane Intellect (3)
– 2x Buy One, Get One Free (3)
– 2x Portal Vanguard (3)
– 2x Rising Waves (3)
– 2x Storage Scuffle (3)
– 2x Tide Pools (3)
– 2x Watercolor Artist (3)
– 1x Alter Time (4)
– 1x Nightmare Lord Xavius (4)
– 2x Pocket Dimension (4)
– 1x Azure Queen Sindragosa (5)
– 1x Azure King Malygos (5)
– 1x Azure Oathstone (8)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
This Mage deck contains few Dragons but packs a potent combo. The key is drawing **Buy One, Get One Free** with **Watercolor Artist** to discount powerful Dragons like Malygos to zero cost.
This enables players to duplicate Malygos, unleashing devastating Arcane spells for a potential one-turn kill (OTK). While there are risks if you draw your discount cards naturally, the payoff for pulling this off is enormous. The challenge is surviving the early aggro-heavy meta.

– 2x Paltry Flutterwing (1)
– 2x Amber Priestess (2)
– 2x Lunarwing Messenger (2)
– 2x Papercraft Angel (2)
– 2x Power Word: Barrier (2)
– 2x Spirit of the Kaldorei (2)
– 1x Archalos (3)
– 2x Disciple of the Dove (3)
– 2x Kaldorei Priestess (3)

**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
Trump takes a different approach with Priest this expansion, focusing less on Medivh and more on the powerful new handbuff tools. Cards like **Power Word: Barrier**, **Disciple of the Dove**, and **Divine Augur** can significantly buff your minions’ stats.
If your initial minions don’t work out, Priest has a variety of Imbue tools to fall back on, helping to maintain board control and pressure.

### Warshack’s Combo Rogue

– 2x Dig for Treasure (1)
– 2x Shapeshifter (1)
– 1x Oh, Manager! (2)
– 2x The Kingslayers (2)
– 1x Chrono Daggers (3)
– 2x King Liane (3)
– 2x Metal Detector (3)
– 2x Dubious Purchase (4)
– 1x Fast Forward (4)
– 1x Garona Halforcen (4)
– 1x Sonya Waterdancer (4)
– 2x Time Skipper (4)
– 1x Sandbox Scoundrel (5)
– 1x Chrono-Lord Deios (7)
– 1x Incindius (7)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
MarkMcKz returns with a meme-worthy Rogue deck that requires multiple working parts to achieve its combo. If you can play **Chrono-Lord Deios**, a mini **Sandbox Scoundrel**, **Sonya Waterdancer**, and another mini **Sandbox Scoundrel**, then **Incindius**’ cost is reduced to just (1).
With Sonya copying Incindius and Chrono-Lord Deios doubling Incindius’ Battlecry and End of Turn effects, the next turn unleashes spectacular damage—assuming you survive that long. Be vigilant to avoid leaving lethal open for your opponent.

### Kris O’ Five’s Bwonsamdi Death Knight
– 2x Morbid Swarm (1)
– 2x Orbital Moon (1)
– 2x Brittlebone Buccaneer (2)
– 2x Dreadhound Handler (2)

– 2x Chillfallen Baron (3)
– 2x Liferender (3)
– 1x Staff of the Endbringer (3)
– 1x What Befell Zandalar (3)
– 2x Husk, Eternal Reaper (4)
– 1x Memoriam Manifest (4)
– 1x Nightmare Lord Xavius (4)
– 2x Sanguine Infestation (4)
– 1x Talanji of the Graves (4)
– 2x Ancient of Yore (5)
– 1x Carnivorous Cubicle (5)
– 1x Corpse Explosion (6)
– 1x Bwonsamdi (7)
– 1x Endbringer Umbra (7)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
Bwonsamdi is a gift that keeps on giving—if you can keep bringing him back. It’s crucial not to include Undead minions costlier than Bwonsamdi himself, so **Memoriam Manifest** can resurrect him repeatedly.
Staying alive beyond one turn with Bwonsamdi allows combos with **Carnivorous Cube**, which can further keep him on board. If enough Bwonsamdis are active, **Endbringer Umbra** can trigger multiple Deathrattles to flood the board with powerful minions in a short time.

– 2x Time-Lost Glaive (1)
– 1x Blind Box (2)
– 2x Broxigar (2)
– 2x Chaos Strike (2)
– 2x Grim Harvest (2)
– 2x Infestation (2)
– 1x Solitude (2)
– 1x Axe of Cenarius (3)
– 2x Infiltrate (3)
– 2x Insect Claw (3)
– 2x Lasting Legacy (3)
– 2x Paraglide (3)
– 2x Wyvern’s Slumber (3)
– 1x Hounds of Fury (4)
– 1x The Eternal Hold (6)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
Zeddy has come around on Demon Hunter with this new spell-focused gimmick. The goal is to activate **Portals to Argus** and kill the resulting demons, summoning a 12/12 Charge Broxigar.
Notably, this deck includes only spells and weapons, with cards like **Blind Box** and **Time-Lost Glaive** fetching minions and **Solitude** buffing them. This all fuels **The Eternal Hold**, which finds a high-cost Demon for free, enabling powerful late-game plays.

### Ozzie’s Rafaam Warlock
– 2x Paltry Flutterwing (1)
– 2x Rotheart Dryad (1)
– 2x Prize Vendor (2)
– 2x Circadiamancer (3)
– 2x Overplanner (3)
– 1x Portal Vanguard (3)
– 2x Timelord Nozdormu (3)
– 2x Whelp of the Infinite (3)
– 1x Domino Effect (4)
– 1x Elise the Navigator (4)
– 2x Griftah, Trusted Vendor (4)
– 1x Hourglass Attendant (4)
– 2x Nightmare Lord Xavius (4)
– 2x RAFAAM LADDER!! (5)
– 2x Ancient of Yore (6)
– 2x Zaqali Flamemancer (6)
– 1x Table Flip (10)
– 1x Timethief Rafaam (10)
**Legendary Rafaams:**
– 1x Tiny Rafaam (2)
– 1x Green Rafaam (4)
– 1x Explorer Rafaam (5)
– 1x Warchief Rafaam (7)
– 1x Mindflayer R’faam (6)
– 1x Calamitous Rafaam (8)
– 1x Giant Rafaam (3)
– 1x Murloc Rafaam (9)
– 1x Archmage Rafaam (9)
**Deck ID:** [Provided in original]
The Rafaam Warlock deck has notable downsides, such as relying on chaotic elements that can backfire. For example, during Theorycrafting, Trump pulled **Timethief Rafaam** with **Dirty Rat**, ruining an OTK play despite 1-in-6 odds.
Still, this deck is a blast to play, racing to assemble its win condition. Even if the combo doesn’t succeed, individual Rafaam minions are powerful on their own—like the 9/9 who Polymorphs the board or the 7/7 that duplicates itself. Buffering these with **Nightmare Lord Xavius** enhances their impact. Don’t knock Rafaam until you’ve tried him!
