The Theme packs app is available for Pixel 6 and later models and can be found on the Google Play Store. However, here’s an important note: although you can install the app now, it will not become operational until Google releases the next Pixel Feature Drop for **Android 16 QPR2**.
In fact, when I installed the app on my Pixel 6 Pro, I couldn’t find the app anywhere on my phone even though the Play Store confirmed that it was installed.

This app presents a fantastic option for users who like to keep their device fresh with the latest wallpapers, sounds, and more. The one-tap functionality makes it even better, eliminating the need to manually adjust several settings individually.
It will be exciting to see what future seasonal theme packs include. Google refers to them as “seasonal,” so we can likely expect themes tied to holidays, events, or cultural moments.
### Is Google Collaborating with Movie Promotions?
While the Wicked theme pack is an interesting choice, it does raise questions about whether Google is receiving payment to promote the film. Given the timing and prominence, it seems likely that some sponsorship or collaboration is involved.

The Theme packs app has already surpassed 100,000 installs, including mine. Personally, I’m not thrilled about turning my Pixel into a promotion for Elphaba and Glinda, but I don’t mind taking one for the team to share what you can expect.
At the moment, despite having downloaded the app, users can expect… nothing. The app is currently non-functional until the feature drop activates it.
