DC Studios is inviting aspiring performers to audition for its upcoming animated project, *Dynamic Duo*. The film is described as a Batman-adjacent feature focusing on the early adventures of Robin—specifically, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. And the best part? Anyone can try out!

On Saturday, November 15, animation studio Swaybox will hold online auditions to select performers for the puppet-animated flick. The casting call is open to fans of film, comics, animation, and puppetry, and there’s no previous experience necessary to audition.
To participate, all you need is a ruler and a device capable of recording video of yourself. The audition window runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Central Time. The video below demonstrates what the work will entail — controlling characters or items solo or with a team, in front of a blue or green screen.
**What the Role Involves**
Performers will be responsible for controlling puppets or animated characters, bringing to life the film’s action scenes using a combination of techniques. Swaybox emphasizes that the process combines “CG, practical stop-motion, and live-action real-time performances,” similar to the style employed in Laika’s *Coraline*. Their upcoming project, *Wildwood*, also appears to utilize comparable filmmaking techniques.
