After tasting success at the box office, the courtroom drama *Jolly LLB 3*, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, is expected to drop online this Friday, November 14. According to sources, its digital premiere is set to stand out as the film will be available on not just one, but two streaming platforms.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Usually, a filmmaker signs an exclusive deal with only one streaming giant for his/her film. In the case of *Jolly LLB 3*, it is expected to be available on two platforms — Netflix as well as JioHotstar. That’s the reason both platforms were mentioned in the opening slate of the film.”
However, it is not yet clear whether *Jolly LLB 3* will be available on both platforms starting November 14, or if it will premiere on one streaming service first and launch on the other after a few weeks.
Recently, John Abraham’s taut thriller *Tehran* followed a similar releasing pattern: it premiered on Zee5 on August 14 and was later released on Netflix two weeks afterward, on August 28. *Tehran* was backed by Maddock Films, whose earlier projects such as *Mimi* (2021) and *Dasvi* (2022) were available on both Netflix and Jio Cinema from the very beginning.
It remains to be seen which release model the makers of *Jolly LLB 3* have adopted.
**Changing Trends in Digital Releases**
The trend of films streaming on multiple platforms with staggered release windows is becoming more common. For instance, the Tamil film *Viduthalai 2* streamed on both Zee5 and Amazon Prime Video, with a three-month gap between its premieres — first on Amazon Prime Video, followed later by Zee5.
Similarly, the Telugu film *Mazaka* was shared by both platforms as well, but with a shorter 30-day gap, debuting first on Zee5 before arriving on Amazon Prime Video.
