Brock Lesnar’s appearance in the WrestleMania 42 promotional video has all but confirmed the possibility of his match at next year’s event. Meanwhile, an absent WWE star has recently revealed why he wants to face The Beast at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Omos, currently one of the top stars not featured on television, has yet to have his absence explained. Over the past two years, he has represented WWE internationally in Japan and Mexico. However, his most recent televised main roster match took place at the 2024 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Last month, Omos wrestled a few times during NXT live events, but there are still no clear updates regarding his potential return to WWE TV.
In a recent interview with MuscleMan Malcolm on YouTube, Omos expressed his desire for a rematch against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. The 33-year-old athlete explained why he wants to challenge The Beast again after his loss at WrestleMania 39.
“I would say on the biggest stage of them all, and also because I need to get my leg back for my own personal worth, Brock owes me one. Brock Lesnar owes me one. We need to go out there and tear the house down. It’s simple facts. The other one you got away because I wasn’t experienced. Now, I traveled the world. I’ve been to Mexico, been to Japan, did NXT. Now, I have more experience and I’ve been studying very, very well. I have been preparing for that moment. So, when that moment comes, Brock, I hope you’re ready,” Omos said.

On another note, Sam Roberts recently shared his thoughts on potential Brock Lesnar opponents at WrestleMania 42 during an episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast. Roberts revealed that his preferred challenger for Bron Breakker was once Brock Lesnar.
Initially, Roberts wanted Breakker to be John Cena’s final opponent but shifted his perspective since that is no longer a likely scenario. He also added Gunther as another possible opponent for Lesnar at the biggest event of 2026.
“I’d prefer Bron Breaker to be the one that faces Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania because then you’re building somebody else. And now, eventually, you’ve got a scenario where maybe you could do Gunther versus Lesnar,” Roberts explained.
Gunther was previously rumored to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 40 before The Beast’s name surfaced in the Janel Grant lawsuit.
