Are you thinking about changing your look and need some inspiration? Google has introduced a new feature designed to help you discover visual content more easily within its app.

As highlighted in a recent Google blog post published on Wednesday, a new dedicated **”Images”** icon will soon appear at the bottom of the Google app for both iOS and Android. This icon will sit alongside familiar tabs like Home, Search, and Notifications, offering a seamless way to explore images tailored to your interests every day.

### Discover, Browse, and Save Images Effortlessly

The images displayed in this new tab are personalized based on your preferences, allowing you to browse through content that truly resonates with you. You can not only view these images but also add them to your Google Collections or search for more specific visual content. According to Google, this feature provides:

> “A seamless way to organize your creative ideas, from your first spark to your next project, all in one place.”

When browsing, you’ll see the source apps or websites for each image, making it easier to explore content in context. This new functionality effectively turns the Google app into a hub for visual inspiration, similar to what Pinterest offers with its “Pins.”

### Features to Enhance Your Experience

– **Search for Images:** At the top of the Images tab, a dedicated search bar lets you quickly find images relevant to your interests.
– **Google Lens Integration:** Long-press on any image to launch Google Lens, which helps you conduct a visual search for similar images.
– **Share or Save:** You can also share images directly or save them to your collections for easy access later.
– **Hide Images:** If there are images you don’t want to see, you have the option to hide them from your feed.

### Rollout and Availability

The new Images tab started rolling out to Beta users in June. Now, it is just weeks away from a wider release in the U.S., available on both iOS and Android versions of the Google app. Upon opening the tab for the first time, you’ll be prompted to select your topics of interest, allowing Google to build a personalized image feed comprised of publicly available images from Google Search.

What you do with these images is entirely up to you—whether it’s for inspiration, saving ideas, or sharing with friends.

### Will You Use This New Images Tab?

– Yes. It sounds like something I can use.
– No. I’m not interested.
– Hmmm. I don’t know yet.

Stay tuned as this new visual experience is rolled out to your Google app, and get ready to explore inspiration like never before!
