WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLS) — A pedestrian was killed and another injured Saturday after being struck by a vehicle in the west suburbs.
The crash occurred around 1:32 p.m. at the intersection of Main and Washington streets in West Chicago, police said.
Two victims, whose genders, ages, and identities have not yet been released, were hit by the vehicle at the location. Both were transported to a hospital, where one pedestrian was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police, officials said.
No further information is available at this time as West Chicago police continue to investigate the crash.
