Chaos has emerged in Fisch due to Merlin’s experiments, and as a result, you need to complete the Fisch Merlin Quest and help him find the Shards. But is this magic the only otherworldly event happening in Fisch, or are aliens coming to Fisch too? Let’s dive in and find out!
## How to Complete The Fisch Merlin Quest
To begin the quest, make your way to Sunstone Island and find Merlin. You can locate him at the top of Sunstone by climbing up the ladder or by heading to the following coordinates:
**X: -945.1, Y: 223.1, Z: -986.8**.
Merlin used to sit in a small hut, but that hut has now been destroyed! When you speak to him, he will explain that he was “trying to recreate a Cosmic Relic with an Enchant Relic using his Magic Orb.” Unfortunately, he dropped the orb, and it broke, causing the chaos.
### Finding The Shards
Merlin will ask you to bring back Shards in exchange for a reward. These Shards can be obtained from Rifts, which appear at random locations throughout the game world.
Luckily, you will receive a server-wide notification whenever a Rift has opened, including the Rift’s location. However, since they can appear anywhere, there’s no specific spot to look for. The good news is that Rifts are easy to spot — they appear as large, glowing portals.
**Pro Tip:** Equip your glider to travel faster and fly around searching for a Rift. Time is of the essence, so when you get the notification, hurry to find it! Keep in mind that Rifts will disappear after a while, and you will have to wait for the next one to spawn.
### Rift Obby
Once you find a Rift, walk inside it, and the game will teleport you to an obby (obstacle course). You need to complete this obby within a short time limit, so be quick and efficient!
After completing the obby, you will receive one Shard. Be cautious — if you die during the obby, you won’t be able to enter the same Rift again, and you will lose money as a penalty for dying.
### Rewards
For each Shard you bring back to Merlin, you will receive a reward. We are still collecting Shards and discovering what rewards are available.
