While many will be celebrating Thanksgiving at home with family and friends, some restaurants and locations in Bowling Green are serving the community during the holiday. The Sunset Bistro will be open on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, with an all-you-can-eat buffet from 12: 30 to 2: 30 p. m. and will cost $33 for adults and $2 a year for kids under 12 (e. g., $20 for 10-year-olds). The restaurant will also have carryout dinners available at 11: 30 a. m. and 3: 00 p. m. for $29. 50. Both the Bowling Green Country Club and Christ’s Church in Bowling Green will be hosting Thanksgiving meals open to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The Bowling Green Country Club’s Thanksgiving dinner will be from 5: 30 to 7: 30 p. m. and costs $17. 95 a person. The dinner will have turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy and green bean casserole. This is the third year the country club will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner will be held at the country club at 923 Fairview Ave. The Christ Church in Bowling Green will be hosting its “Thanksgiving Feast” from 3 to 6 p. m. and is free to the public. This will be the 34th annual Thanksgiving feast that Christ’s Church in Bowling Green will be hosting. The feast will be held at the Bowling Green Community Center at 1245 W. Newton Rd.
