**Brenda Carlene Mullins, 77, of Advance**
Brenda Carlene Mullins, 77, of Advance, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on June 7, 1948, in Cahokia, Illinois, to Lloyd Ralf and Lucy Taylor Mezo. Brenda and Ray Mullins were married on November 22, 1980, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2017.
Brenda was a devoted wife who loved her dogs dearly. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She served honorably in the U.S. Navy before being honorably discharged.
She is survived by her son, Drew (Nicole) Mullins of Denham Springs, Louisiana; two daughters, Cheriee (Charley) Wren of Scott City and April Bryant of Olmsted, Illinois; four grandchildren, Kayla Ann (Dustin) Halbritter of Gonzalez, Louisiana, Josephine Elle of Denham Springs, Garrett (Jamie) Stevens of Advance, and Cameron Stevens of Scott City; as well as many great-grandchildren.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, and a sister.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
