**Chia Wee Luen Appointed Managing Director of Microsoft Singapore to Drive Digital Ambitions through Cloud and AI**

Microsoft has announced the appointment of Chia Wee Luen as the new Managing Director for Singapore, succeeding Lee Hui Li, who built a strong foundation for Microsoft’s continued growth in the country.

With over two decades of experience in enterprise technology, Chia brings extensive expertise in strategic leadership, customer transformation, and regional growth. Prior to joining Microsoft, he held senior leadership roles at Red Hat, Qlik, Oracle, and was most recently the Managing Director for Asia at ServiceNow.

At Microsoft Singapore, Chia and his leadership team will focus on advancing Singapore’s digital ambitions through cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Their goal is to accelerate cutting-edge innovation to drive inclusive transformation across various sectors.

Chia began his career in Singapore’s public sector and is actively involved in the community. He serves on the digital and technology committee of the Children’s Cancer Foundation and chairs the Tech for Good committee of the Singapore Computer Society.

With Chia’s appointment, Microsoft Singapore aims to strengthen its leadership in digital innovation, leveraging cloud and AI technologies to support Singapore’s vision as a smart nation.
