Larian Studios has continued to address crashing issues on the Xbox, as well as delivering ongoing improvements to Baldur’s Gate 3. The developer recently rolled out Hotfix #34, which introduces a native Steam Deck build alongside several important fixes.

**Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix #34 Patch Notes**

The patch notes for Hotfix #34 were uploaded to Steam today, and they include an extensive FAQ for the new Steam Deck build. Upon launching the game on Steam Deck after applying Hotfix #34, the game will default to the native Steam Deck graphics settings. Players can tweak these settings at any time, whether they choose to play natively or via Proton.

– Resolved a sound resource generation issue related to Photo Mode.

– Ensured Halsin actually yells when entering barbarian Rage instead of silently miming it.
– Fixed prematurely cut-off SFX during Vlaakith’s appearance at camp.

**Cinematics**
– Corrected an imp on the nautiloid that was looking in the wrong direction.
– Fixed an excessively close-up camera shot during dialogue with Raphael at Last Light.
– Removed a static pool of blood floating mid-air in a cinematic with gnolls on the Risen Road when playing as a short Dark Urge character.
– Fixed Karlach’s line about Gale being a hero, which was previously cut off prematurely.
