Tonight on The Stevetendo Show, we’re kicking off a brand new playthrough! It’s been a while since we’ve tackled a Legend of Zelda game on the show, but that’s about to change this evening. We’re starting a Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom playthrough on the Nintendo Switch 2.
I absolutely loved playing this game on the original Nintendo Switch, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how it looks and performs on the Nintendo Switch 2. This game is massive, packed with secrets everywhere, so I haven’t quite decided what completion percentage this playthrough will target. While I doubt we’ll find all the hidden Koroks, I’ll do my best to discover most of the shrines and upgrades.
The stream will go live at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT. Join The Stevetendo Show for the start of the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition playthrough!
For those Shackers who want to join in on the fun, head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel. You can catch The Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If you can’t make it tonight, don’t worry — you can also tune in on Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT.
Looking ahead on the show, we’ve got more of our Pokémon Legends Z-A playthrough plus more Super Mario Galaxy 2. In Pokémon, we’re climbing the ranks in the Z-A Battle Royale. As for Super Mario Galaxy 2, we recently cleared World 3 and are now hunting down Prankster Comet stars whenever we can. The action is really heating up, and you won’t want to miss it!
Be sure to check out both the Shacknews Twitch channel and the Shacknews VODs YouTube channel. Catch up on your favorite Shacknews programs by subscribing to the YouTube channel and following us on Twitch.
In other news, Shacknews has launched a new service called Shackmaps. Our wonderful staff has created detailed maps and guides for some of your favorite video games to help keep you from getting lost — a handy resource for any gamer!
Usually, I use this space to joke around or share updates on my sports fandom, but today is Veterans Day. If you see a veteran, please take a moment to thank them for their service. My grandfather and a good friend of mine were veterans, and it takes a lot to fight for your country. Let’s show them our appreciation.
Lastly, keep sending in your suggestions for new games you’d love to see on The Stevetendo Show. If it’s on Nintendo Switch 2 or the Nintendo Switch 2 Online service, it could very well star in an upcoming episode. You never know when Nintendo might add something new to the Switch 2 Online service, so stay tuned!
We look forward to gaming with you tonight and throughout the week. See you on the stream!
